$ 140 must be paid before the start of the game.
This will be a tennis tape ball cricket tournament.
All R,R&PC must be followed by all the participants.
WHEN GAME STARTS IF YOUR TEAM IS NOT PRESENT, THE OTHER TEAM WILL BE ANNOUNCED AS WINNERS.
1. The Ball used for the cricket match
a. The game will be played with a White Tape Tennis ball. b. Tennis Balls and Tape will be provided by the management committee. c. Under no circumstances, the color of the tape will be changed unless deemed necessary by the management committee.
2. Peace and Harmony during the tournament
a. If any individual at any instant of time is unhappy for any reason, he can walk out of the tournament without affecting the harmony among the individuals. b. We expect the person in question to be considerate and make every effort for a smooth continuance of the tournament.
3. Decisions during the tournament
a. Umpire’s decision will be final and must be respected. b. At any point, with respect to anything related to the game, be with an umpiring decision or any point where there is a difference of opinion and it cannot be sorted out by the umpires, Management/Organizing committee will make the final decision. c. This is necessary to maintain the harmony among the players as well as to continue the friendly association on and off the field. d. In all such cases, Management Committee/Organizer's decision will be final.
4. The teams will be 7 players a side
a. All initial match rounds are expected to be played a 5 overs (maximum) a side and 5 balls per over. b. A bowler can bowl max. 1 over. c. A minimum of 5 bowlers to bowl per innings from the bowling side. d. In case of time constraint/other unavoidable circumstances tournament management can reduce the number of overs of a game any time during the tournament.
5. Each player will be allowed to play from one team only during the tournament
6. If a fielder catches a ball close to the boundary line/cone, he should wait there, so that if the umpire wants to confirm if it’s out or six
a. However, umpire’s decision will be final
7. Last man cannot play
8. No balls and wide balls
a. No balls and wide balls will have a score of 1 run and the ball will not be counted. b. A ball on the line of the wide marker will be considered a wide ball and will be at the judgment of the Umpire.
9. Hit wickets & stumping are out
a. Mankading (or mankaded) will be out after a first warning. b. However, Umpires decision will be final. c. LBW is not out.
10. Wicket keeper will be from the fielding side (if they choose to have one)
11. Captain is responsible for educating his team all the rules, regulations & playing conditions
a. Only the Captain of the Team is allowed to discuss any matter or decision with the umpire or Management Committee/Organizers. b. No Exceptions.
12. Clarification of Bouncer
a. If the ball goes above the batsman's head, it will be considered a wide ball and runs scored off will be counted.
13. Clarification of a beamer
a. If it is a full toss ball that reaches a batsman while he is in a batting stance, at or above his waist height. b. A beamer will be considered as no ball & runs scored off it will be counted. c. No Beamers are allowed at all.
14. Clarification of a No Ball (Feet)
a. The bowler’s front foot must land with some part of foot behind the popping crease. b. The bowlers back foot must land within the return crease and not touching the return crease. c. There will be a free hit ONLY for every FOOT FAULT No Ball.
15. Chucking will not be allowed at all
a. Any bowler found by the umpire to have bowling action issue, the ball will be declared as a no ball. b. 2 balls delivered with that action will disqualify that bowler from bowling. c. As far as the classification of chucking is concerned, it is up to the umpire to use his skills in judging and classifying someone to have suspect action to gain advantage by chucking. d. Again, it is at umpire’s discretion and umpires decision should be respected at all times. e. Chucking bowler will be banned from bowling in the tournament. f. This is mandatory for the Spirit of the Game.
16. Retired hurt
a. If a batsman is injured or falls ill (or has some other unavoidable reason for leaving the field) while batting, he may retire and resume his innings at the dismissal or retirement of another batsman.
17. In case of tie in SF/Final match; if time permits, the organizers may allow to play a Super Over
a. The decision of the Management Committee/Organizers will be Final in all circumstances.
18. Teams will qualify for the play-offs after group stages
a. The criteria for qualification of playoffs will be set at the time of draws depending on total number of teams.
