Slough Indoor Cricket League – 2019/2020 Organized by – Jai Shivaji Group Tournament Rules 1. Six a side tournament. 10 Overs-a-side. Each inning should be played in 30mins and the whole match in 1hr. 2. All teams have to give names of 9 permanent players pool before the finish of Round robin matches(8th Mar’20). 3. A single run between the wickets will be counted as 2 runs scored. 4. Ball touching sidewalls in front of the batsman's wickets will be counted as 1 or 2 runs based on where the ball touches. 5. The Ball touching a side wall plus a single run taken = 3/4 runs (Based on where it touches). 6. Being an indoor tournament, a direct hit on roof and on sidewalls above a certain height is considered out. 7. Max 2 ringer players are allowed i.e. borrow from another team in case of short of players. 8. Ringer will not be allowed to bowl, can only field and bats as the last man. 9. Each batsman will retire after scoring 25 runs and can bat again as the last man after all ringers (if any) have bated. 10. Last man batting allowed. Batsman out first will stand opposite to him as a runner. 11. Twister - If a batsman hits six on the last ball of his innings, it will be considered 12 runs. 12. 10 Overs – Min 4 bowlers. Max 3 overs for 2 bowlers. 13. Two runs will be given for each wide and no ball except for the last over and the ball will be counted. 14. Last over will be normal over. 1 run for each wide/no-ball. The delivery will not be counted. 15. A Ball bouncing over shoulder height will be directly called a no-ball. No warning will be given. 16. One new ball per match. 17. Replacement ball will be used only in case the original ball is lost and that will be a used ball from previous matches. 18. Points system during round-robin matches – Win: 2 points, Loss - 0 points. Tie - 1 point each. 19. In case of a Tie in league stages or Finals round matches, a super over will be played. 20. Ringers will not be allowed after round-robin matches. 21. LGS is strict about timings. So all teams must available 15 mins before the scheduled start of their match at the venue. 22. No request for the match rescheduling would be accepted as the dates are given in advance. 23. For any other situation or scenario, umpire's decision will remain the final decision. 24. All other questions or queries will be cleared at the venue.
Tournament Format Round Robin Matches 1. There will be 2 groups – A and B group. Each group will consist of 4 teams. 2. Each team will play 2 matches with all other teams from same group. 3. Top 2 teams from each group will go into next round. 4. Criteria for getting top 2 teams from each group will be as follows : a.No of points in all round robin matches b.No of Wins between tied teams c.Total highest runs scored by team from all round robin matches. d.Total less no of wickets lost by team from all round robin matches.
Rank Decider Matches 1. All 4 teams will play one match each with each other. 2. At the end of round – Rank 1 to 4 will be decided. In case of Tie, super over will be played. 3. Criteria in case of equal points will be same as mentioned above. Only matches of this round will be considered.
Finals 1. All 4 teams will play matches in IPL format i.e. Qualifier, eliminator etc 2. In case of Tie, super over will be played 3. If not aware of IPL format finals, then details about final matches will be communicated later.
