Damn Deluge.. ! This is what's in every Titans player's mind who played competitive on Saturday. After being sent out to bowl first by Hoysalas, Titan players were determined to contain hard hitting Hoysalas batsmen. Even after a early catch drop Titans came back strong to take 2 early wickets prompting Hosyalas batsmen to go in to shell to preserve wickets. Swaroop and Adarsh tried to steady the innings and kept attacking when ever got a chance. They almost threatened to take the game away with barrage of boundaries but Adarsh got out in Prashanth's bowling to create another opening. Sachin Came in and tried to swing hard at few and was able to connect a mighty six over cow corner and after break Swaroop milked out about 25 runs in 3 overs to take Hoysalas to a mighty score. Prashanth and Vishnu Bowled a string of tight overs from 13-18 and restricted Hoysala's to a below par score of 86 in 20 overs. Confident of chasing down 87 for a much needed win ( with opposition having only 10 players), Titans batsmen were about to enter the ground and here came the huge down pour of rain. It literally rained cats and dogs along with huge thunders ( literally CBRP was Thunder struck !! ) to make CBRP1&2 a huge puddle of water. Thanks to that deluge, both teams have to reload the trigger and wait until next week to restart the game from scratch. Titans forsure are mulling about their missed chance to seal a play off berth.
