Coming in Hot.. Just like Fajitas.. ( https://youtu.be/uLS-WE4K8q0)

Titans Must be on to that song because they came out Hot, Sizzling just like Fajitas while bowling against a rock solid Sunrise Strikers Batting line up. Not one Titans Bowler has let the pedal on gas go and applied enormous pressure on Strikers batting line up on an overcast CBRP pitch which was skidding ( literally ) like crazy and made them succumb to a way below par score of 65/10.

Titans won the Toss and asked Strikers to bat first just to make them uncomfortable of their regular proceedings ( to chase down scores). Opening bowlers Bharat and Neil were on the Money from word get go. Strikers got initial repreive in first over but made very quick adjustments to strike back in second over. From there onwards they kept on chipping away with wickets and made it really tough for Strikers main batsmen Rohit to Tee Off ( like he usually does). Rohit Played cautios at the beginning but eventually got out when he tried to break the shackles. Strikers managed to play out 20 overs but we able to post 65 runs on score board( with 15 runs coming in as 5 wides.. ). Neil Finished with another 4 wicket haul !! ( Must be following Shami's diet I guess :D) Needless to say Titans Stayed HOT through out the innings even though Fajitas came out of kitchen an hour ago.

A Drizzle of rain intervened between the innings and it threatened to wash the game away with Titans in commanding position. eventually when play resumed batting never looked easy.. Tennins ball became wet and it became so heavy that when batsmen striked the ball gnarly water spirals were coming out of it.. Titans needed 33 runs in 10 overs to over come DLS scenario but on other side if Strikers kept Titans under 33 in 10 overs and Rain washed out the game they would have walked away with a win. Titans got of to a rocky start as both openers got out cheaply and one of Strikers best bowler Hemanth was keeping it really tight stump to stump.. Titans were in precarious position earlier with still 13 more runs needed in 4 overs to be over the par score after 10 overs and top 4 Titans batsmen were back in hut ( one being retired out after being hit on nose while trying to pull). Middle order batsmen Venkat who struggled for finding form trhough out the league phase came in and struck some meaty cover drives to take attack to opposition and struck 4 boundaries in span of 10 balls to seal the Deal. Thanks to Venkat's timely aggression, Titans sailed home comfortably with 5 overs to spare.
Tough luck Strikers, you dearly missed your strike bowler Naveen Sheshagiri Yesterday..
It will be a interesting Semi finals in couple of weeks and hopefully Fajitas stay HOT in semis as well ;)
