RULES AND REGULATIONS
 
1. R.V. College of Engineering is organizing the above mentioned tournament in the Memory of Late. SRI CHAMARAJU, who was a Sports Enthusiast.
2. The tournament is scheduled to commence from 18th February 2019.
3. The mode of conduction of tournament will be on Knock-out basis.
4. Only Bonafide students are eligible to play. The players should produce the Bonafide certificate & Identity card duly signed by the Head of the Institution, prior to the commencement of their matches.
5. All matches will be of 30 overs a side; the final will be of 45 overs a side.
6. Each bowler will bowl a maximum of 6 overs for 30 overs game & 9 overs for 45 overs game in the stipulated time.
7. The fielding side should complete 30 overs within the stipulated time i.e., 125 Minutes inclusive of drinks break for 30 overs game & 185 minutes inclusive of     drinks break for 45 overs game.
8. In case the fielding side fails to complete the quota in the stipulated time, Penalty of 10 runs per over will be awarded to the batting side.
9.  Start of play in the morning 8:00 A.M & afternoon is 12:30 P.M.
10. Teams should report 15 minutes before the start of the play, team arriving late shall lose overs at the rate of 1 over for every full 4 minutes.  
11. Only qualified Umpires from KSCA will be officiating in the Matches. Umpires decision is final and binding in all matches.
11. a. Not more than 5 fielders are allowed on the leg side.
11. b. One bouncer per over is permitted.
12. In case of a delayed start, umpires will decide the no of overs for each side. All K.S.C.A. Rules are applicable. Also, there will be a ‘Free Hit’ for all types no ball.
13. 15 member’s squad to be accompanied by a Coach/Manager. 
14. The team is liable to be disqualified, if the code of conduct is violated at any stage of the game.
15. Teams should carry their own kits. The tournament balls will be provided on payment of Rs. 550/- by the Organizing Secretary and those balls alone will be permitted for their play.
16. No protest against the umpires will be entertained.
17. In case of rain, minimum of 12 overs of the second innings have to be completed to decide match by run rate.  If the run rates are equal the winner will be decided by the no. of wickets lost.  If it is not completed the above match will be decided by spin of coin.
18. In case of a tie in the score, the result of the match will be decided by ‘Super Over’. KSCA Super over playing condition is applicable.
19. The Entry Fee is Rs 1000/- per team & shall be paid before the match.  
20. Matches will be held at RVCE cricket ground only.
21. The Chamaraju Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the Winners & the Runners up team will receive a Trophy along with certificates and attractive Individual prizes.
22. The number of teams participating in the tournament is limited to 24 on first cum first serve basis.
