Travancore​ Friday Friendly Matches Cricket Tournament  Rules and Regulations 
 
1. The tournament will be held from 27th September 2019
2. Match starting time will be 2:30 pm; Scheduled team need to report ground at 2:15 pm.
3. If any team fail to report within the scheduled time then the opponent Team will be declared as Winner.
4. Prior to the match starting time both team captains should verify the players and mark the playing XI in the sheet and confirm.
5. Innings: Each innings consists of 15 overs and no bowler can bowl more than 3 overs.
6. Power Play: First 4 over will be power play. During the power play, only 3 fielders will be allowed to field outside the marked 30 yard circle.
7. Three fielders should always be inside the marked 30 Yard throughout the match.
8. Substitute fielder on the ground will be allowed and to be inform to Umpire. However he will not be allowed to bat and bowl.
9. Substitute runner will be allowed only if the player got injured in the respective match.
10. No Ball: A ball will be declared as a No Ball in any of the following cases:
- Ball pitching short and going above normal shoulder height of a batsman.
- Bowler bowling form beyond the marked line.
- Beamer bowled at a batsman’s body above waist height in half-cock stance.
- Umpire reserves every right to declare a no ball with or without warning if any bowler delivers   underarm or throw ball. If again the same bowler repeat bowling throw, he will be dismissed from bowling in the match.
- Having more than five fielder on leg side of the wickets (Excluding bowler and keeper)
- Umpire can’t call No ball for the non- declaration of bowling action/side by the bowler.
11. Wide Ball: Any ball bowled out of the Batsman reach will be declared a wide Ball.
12. No Ball and wide will be penalized according to cricket rule. One run and extra ball will be awarded for a no ball and a wide ball. There is no FREE HIT for over stepping the bowling line.
13. Discretion to declare a “no ball” or a “wide ball " will be left to the officiating Umpires only. In the best interest of the games, such decisions shall not be questioned by any players.
14. LBW: There will be no Leg Before wicket.
15. Byes: Leg byes and overthrows are applicable.
16. Run out: Non striker: The bowler may attempt to run out the Batsman at the bowling end (Non striker) if he is trying to seal a run, only after warning the Batsman at least once.
17. No bowler can bowl immediately after coming off the field after substitution.  He can bowl only after taking the field for next One Over.
18. Tied Match: If the same number of runs scored by both team in a match; Super Over will decide the winners.
19. Standard and Bombay bats are allowed. Single piece bat (Sri Lankan bat) is not allowed.
20. Innings time: 90 min. maximum for each section.
21. Tournament fixture will be decided through lot draw.
22. Organizing committee reserves the right to change the game program like the schedules, play time, grounds etc. The information of the changes will be delivered to the responsible of the teams.
