WICL 2018 Series 2 - RULES

1. Timings - Match starts at sharp 7.45 PM buffer time of 10+5 mins extra. Beyond 15 mins from start time, there will be a penalty of 1 over to be imposed.  
2. Punctuality - If 8 players are present fielding team has to take the ground instead of waiting for extra players. 2 Players can be borrowed for fielding from Opposition. 
3. Challenge over -  Removed to avoid further complications.
4. Wide - On the line ball is considered a fair ball and is not considered as a Wide. A Turning ball will be at umpire's discretion and the point where ball crosses the Bat will be taken as line of reference.
5. Bouncer - Only one bouncer per over and second bounce is a no ball and free hit offered. 
6. Bowling Quota - 3 bowler can bowl 3 Overs, rest limit - 2 Overs. 
7. Appeals - A bowler can appeal on wide if he feels a ball is a legal delivery. In such cases, only Umpires, Wicket Keeper, Bowler and Captains to have discussion and decide. Thereafter the decision will be final. 
8. Over throw from keeper to stumps and ball goes out of ground then 1 run declared apart from the runs taken by batsman. 
9. Other Issues - For any other issues captains to talk and decide. Vice-Captain can pitch in if required. 
10 Match - 16 Overs Per Side. Powerplay - First 5 Overs.
