New faces make it a season to remember!
From the emergence of Neeraj Aleria to Vivek Yadav’s stunning new heights

Vivek

There were many feats he performed over the past few months - hitting best bowlers to the boundary, and scoring nearly 30 percent of what the entire  team managed in a match. It's the attitude that makes him as good as he is. He loves a fight, and when he is in the middle of one, he seems to have the time of his life. He hasn't quite faced a side, or conditions that undermine his strengths yet, and may still be learning. Though expectation would be very hight from him in next season.

Neeraj

The crunching drives from the right-handed Neeraj Aleria's bat in the season ending matches against Rob’s Team caught the Indore's imagination. He dismantled the fast attack to stage a win for his side. Neeraj's first couple of knocks invited praise from One of the top cricketers like DSB and Akki. The televised games made him an overnight star, and he began trending on Twitter. Prankur's fans started comparing the flair and grace of Neeraj to the ICC maestro in his hey days. He obviously didn't see the praise as he wasn't on social media during that important tournament.

Most of his aggressive shots came from the back foot. "Yes, I played mostly on the back foot during the tournament, but I love to play on the front foot as well. May be the previous injury played a part, but it didn't hamper my movement. I love the aggression of Billore and the shot playing style of Vishwas Ji," he revealed.

"Even I was thinking what happened after those two knocks. It has been haunting me. When I was out of shape, I performed well. And this time I was in the right form and yet I was not performing. It was a pathetic shot selection. Except the last match, the bowler did not take my wicket; I gifted it. So more than the technique, I will work on my shot selection," said a wiser Neeraj on asking about his performance on last XPL.
