On 08/30/2018 the first qualifier match was played. Zen Warriors won the toss and elected to bowl first. Blue Cobras had a steady cautious start, and made 49 runs in their first 6 overs. With the platform set for a Cobras-take-off, Warriors'' standin captain Kaushal took 2 wickets in his tight 2 overs. And yet that did not stop the onslaught from Naqash, who scored 36 runs off just 8 balls. In the end, the Cobras managed to pile up 134 runs in their 12 overs. While the Warriors were discussing their batting strategy, the rain Gods decided to show up without an Accuweather announcement. Due to the rain in the break, the second half of the match (Warriors'' Batting) has been adjourned to 09/06/2018. |
