IOC Cricket League 2022 ? Rules Book Please follow the rules, and let us make this short tournament a successful event. ?
Game time should be 7:30 am ? 11:30 am. Toss will be at 7:20 am. We need a minimum of 7 players present for the toss.
The maximum number of overs per innings is 20 overs for first-round matches and 20 for playoff matches.
A team?s roster shall not be limited. But a player has to play at least one match to be eligible to play the playoffs/final. ? If a player/s? foud plays the final 1st time, that game will be forfeit and announced opposite team as the winner.
The 12th man only allows for fielding/keeping. He can not bat or bowl.
If any player is late to make the game, he can not bat or bowl directly. For example, if any player is late for? 5 overs, he has to wait for another 5 overs to go for bowling or batting.*
There will be one mandatory drinks break within the innings after 10 overs.
There will be a free hit for all types of no-balls throughout the tournament, and The field setting should not be changed for a free hit if the batsman is the same. The above the waist no ball, and above the shoulder no ball. The neutral main umpire?s call will be the final call and they can overrule the call of the batting team?s leg umpire?s call. Also, if a ball is wide and a no ball at the same time, no ball takes precedence for the umpire to call.
Different types of no-balls are
Front foot,
Ball bouncing twice or more or rolls along the ground before it reaches the popping crease
The ball is pitched outside the mat when the ball is pitched in front of the wicket.
Bowled from behind the umpire, and the ball lands in front of the wicket
Bowled from outside the mat
The bowler breaks the stumps (if any of the bails are dislodged) as a part of the bowling action.
?Wicket Keeper is collecting the ball before the stumps. The leg umpire will call no ball.
More fielders outside the circle than allowed
There are more than 2 fielders behind the square leg and less than 4 on the offside. Bowler does not count in the fielders on either side ( leg or off ).
If a bowler bowls from behind the return crease, it is not a no-ball.
If the bowler bowls from outside the sideline of the bowling crease, it is not a no-ball as the sideline is for identifying the wide balls. As long as the bowler bowls within the mat, it is not a no-ball
The only condition in which the above-the-waist ball will not be a no ball is when the batsman is moving and he is outside the crease. Both these conditions are to be satisfied for not declaring it as a no ball
Full toss over the waist, regardless of whether it is a spin bowler or fast bowler, is a no-ball (Collected: As per TCC Rules)

LBW out shall not be enforced. Leg byes are not allowed. Once the ball hits the batsman?s leg or any other body part except the fist holding the bat, the ball shall be considered to be a dead ball. Thus no runs may be scored, or the batsman gets out.
Underarm bowling is illegal. One bounce Allow Per over. Total 6 overs Powerplay 1st 4 overs is mandatory Powerplay 2 fielders only outside the 30yrd Allow, and another 2 overs powerplay will be batting powerplay, the Batting team can take any time only 3 Fielders?will be outside 30yrd if 11 payers at the ground.
Batsmen who retire due for any reason can come back only after 3 more wickets or before the last wicket, whichever is earlier.
The home team should bring 6 stumps and cons /flags for boundaries. The bowler team provides new balls for the game.
Rainout match will be rescheduled, Saturday Match will be scheduled on Sunday at 11:30 am, and Sunday match will be rescheduled on received day on 27th August. If the match washout 2nd-time point will be split.
