Rules
Match Rules: Below are a few basic rules listed. The cricket matches are to be played in a sporting manner and the two captains and the umpires should resolve any dispute/differences that come up in a very amicable manner.
  1. Umpire’s decision - Umpire decision will be final (provided the rules are followed). In case Umpires are not aware of certain rules, both team captains and both the Umpires can discuss and come to conclusion. Umpire's decision will have priority in case a conclusion cannot be reached.
  2. Match Timings - evening hours (vary between 7:30pm to 9:00pm depending on field availability and both teams agreeing)
  3. Match Format - 11 Players (10 Fielding) / 15 Overs Per Side / Bowlers Quota - 3 Overs Max. Fielders can be rotated. 
  4. Power play - First 5 Overs. 2 Fielders allowed outside the circle.
  5. Innings Break - There will be only one Innings Break at end of First Innings for 10 Minutes. 
  6. NO LBW's - To keep it simple, there are no LBW for the league/trophy matches
  7. Fielding - Max allowed 5 on Leg Side (including Bowler, if bowling around the wicket) .Min 2 Players to field inside circle during whole match. 
  8. Wides - On the line on off-side will be considered fair delivery. Anything past the stumps on "leg-side is a WIDE".
  9. Bouncer - One Bouncer (Over the shoulder) is allowed per over. 2nd bouncer onwards its called as NO-BALL (Free Hit). 
  10. Beamers - Over the waist Full Toss ball (Beamer) is considered as NO-BALL (Free Hit).  2 Beamers in a match and Bowler will not be allowed to ball in that match. 
  11. No-BALLS - In addition to Beamers above, the regular rules apply to being called a NO-Ball. Stepping over the crease-line or bowling too wide from outside the crease will be called a no-ball. Also, each bowler has to announce to the umpire at the start of the over on their bowling, example: Rt. Arm, over the wicket or Round the wicket otherwise it's at the discretion of umpire to call it a NO-BALL.
  12. Overthrow - Normal overthrow rules apply
Declared Runs 
   a. On Off Side, ball travelling to the fence "after the pole at  point/cover" is 4 runs and directly over is 6 runs - Regular boundary marked by the fence & not orange cones
   b. On Off Side, ball travelling outside before the "pole on the back & adjacent to dug-out" either directly or with 1 or more bounce is declared 1 run.
   c. On Off Side, ball travelling outside after the "pole on the back & adjacent to dug-out" either directly or with 1 or more bounce is declared 2 runs.
   d. On Leg Side, ball travelling outside before the "other pole on the back, Leg Gully area" either directly or with 1 or more bounce is declared 1 run.
   e. On Leg Side, ball travelling outside after the "other pole on the back, Leg Gully area" either directly or with 1 or more bounce is declared 2 runs.
