Rolling substitutions are allowed to a maximum of 4 per game. Umpires must be notified prior to all substitutions.

Should a team lose a player to injury or technical ejection, which puts them below the default number, the team can continue to play the game shorthanded without defaulting within the recognized rules of the sport.

General Playing Rules: will follow the UK Variant
The umpires will call captains of respective teams together for coin toss to determine which team bats or bowls first. The team listed first on the schedule will make the call on the coin toss.
A batting team losing 6 wickets constitutes an inning. A team batting 6 players will be allowed to bat with a 7th runner at the opposite end. A retired (hurt) batsman can come on to bat but only after everyone else has batted.
When fielding, 2 fielders on the fielding team must remain in front of the line specified by match officials and 2 behind.
Appealing an umpire’s call is not recommended, although a player on the floor may ask for clarification on the call of an out, run, wide or no ball. Once the umpire has addressed the single appeal, the decision is taken as final & irreversible.
Play & Scoring: 1 run will be scored for:
Each time the batsmen cross creases successfully while the ball is in play.
Each time a ball hitting a wall off the batsman’s bat.
Each time a bowled ball gets passed the wicket keeper and hits the back wall.
Each ball judged wide, +1 run if the ball hits a wall, +1 for each additional crossing of batsmen.
Each ball judged as no-balls, +1 run if the ball hits a wall, +1 for each additional crossing of batsmen.
Byes and leg byes where the ball hits a wall and/or each crossing of batsmen.
For each crossing of batsmen completed in the event of an overthrow.
4 runs will be scored for:
A ball hitting the front wall after 1 or more bounces, (not including ricochets off side walls).
6 runs will be scored for:
A ball hitting the front wall directly (below the grey wall on the white bricks) without bouncing on the floor.
NOTE: The ball is always in play as long as it is not missing, lodged somewhere in the gym or a 6 has been hit.
Extras:
Wide Balls and No-Balls are to be re-bowled and 1 run is awarded to the batting team.
No-Balls: a full toss above the waist of the batsman (2 warnings will be issued and then the bowler will be removed); illegal bowling style ie. chucking; balls bowled during fielding violations; bowling additional bouncers after a maximum of 2; any part of bowler’s front foot not behind the crease; bowler’s back foot not landing in the crease; dead ball; foot-fault no balls will result in a “free hit” for the next ball bowled (see below).
Free-Hit: If the ball to be used as the “free hit” is also a no ball or wide, the “free hit” will carry over to the next ball. In a “free hit” situation, the batsman can only be called “out” by those outs that apply to a no ball.
Wide Balls: any ball passing behind the batsman, any ball passing the wide line on the offside; (a ball touching a batsman will not be considered a wide ball)
Dismissals/Outs:
Bowled: when the ball hits the stumps and knocks off the bails before striker hits it
Caught: when a hit ball is caught by a fielding player before hitting any wall or the floor
Out: Any ball that hits the ceiling, anything above the soundproofing panels, is considered an automatic out.
Indirect hits to the ceiling are considered in play.
Stumped: when the striker leaves the crease to reach a ball bowled by the bowler and the keeper takes off the bails with the ball in hand
Run Out: when the striker or runner does not make the crease before the ball hits the stumps (the ball must touch some part of a fielder before hitting the stumps to be called out)
Retired Out: If a team chooses to retire a batsman then that batsman is considered out and cannot return.
Tie Breaker:
Games will be scored: Three (3) points for a win, two (2) points for a super over win, one (1) point for a super over loss, zero (0) points for a loss & minus two (-2) points for a default.
The tie breaking procedure will be used to begin placing teams as follows:
The team with the best win/loss record in the games between the teams involved shall be awarded the higher position in the standings.
If a tie still persists, the team with the better net run rate in the tie shall be awarded the higher position in the standings.
In the event of three or more teams/competitors being tied for an event place, the highest position will be determined by the above procedures. Applying the above tie breaking procedure from the beginning will break the tie for the next position.
No team member (player, coach, or team representative), shall display or consume alcoholic beverages/illegal drugs while in attendance at the game site, including parking lots.
Any player who appears to be “under the influence”, before or during a game will be ejected from the tournament. Players at fault may be subject to further discipline.
Smoking & other tobacco products are not permitted at the game site. Please use designated areas & proper disposal practices if you need to use tobacco.
