Canadian College Cricket is honored and pleased to announce that Peter Donahue, Associate Director of International Student Support at Wilfrid Laurier University, has joined forces with Canadian College Cricket as a Liaison. Peter has helped immensely with the growth and development of Canadian College Cricket over the years and having him as part of our organization is truly an honor.
 
Hassan Mirza, President of Canadian College Cricket, mentioned having Peter on the board is a huge step towards success for CCC. He strongly believes that Peter’s experience is a big asset towards strengthening the relation between University/Colleges & CCC.
 
Here is a brief introduction of Peter Donahue:
 
‘Peter Donahue has over 25 years of experience in international education involving international youth exchanges, immigrant and refugee settlement, international student advising and international program management. He has worked on international education projects involving partners from China, Mexico, Vietnam, Iran, U.S.A, India, France, Germany, and Ghana. Currently his network of post-secondary partners is over 300 and in over 40 countries. Peter is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Sociology and Development Studies. In 2009, he was awarded an Honorary Professorship by Yunnan Normal University of Kunming Yunnan for his work in building relations between Canadian and Chinese universities. At Laurier, he is a member of the University’s Committees addressing Gender Violence, Employment Equity and servers on the Student Affairs Advisory Team and Global Engagement Advisory Committees.’
