His love and passion for the game is exemplary. He was very instrumental in putting together a decent team of Over 50 cricketers that hailed from different countries in the Caribbean and North America to take part in the 2020 Over 50s World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa. Over $100,000 had to be raised by the World Cup Committee to get these players to attend their first ever World Cup which, sadly, had to be aborted during the 3rd round matches. This tournament was replayed in March 2023. Raj has now spearheaded our attendance at the Over 60s West Indies World Cup team for the inaugural World Cup in Queensland, Australia- November 2022 and the O40s Cricket Global Cup in Karachi, Pakistan in September 2023.
