AMAN RAMESH Scalps 5 wickets in the KCA Under 16 Boys Inter-District Tournament 2021-22 held at St. Pauls College Ground, Kalamassery. 

Winning the toss, Kottayam Under 16 elected to bat first. Wicket Keeper Batsman Kasinath S 43(92) and Abhinav K V 88(95) gave an excellent start and put a 135 runs partnership on the opening wicket. After losing both batsmen at 150, Aman R led the bowling unit for Ernakulam Under 16 with an excellent spell (9 - 2 - 30- 5) pushed Kottayam All out for 186 in 46 Overs and the last 8 wickets gone for just 36 runs. 

In reply, Ernakulam lost the wicket-keeper batsman Rohith K R and Aman R before 8 overs at a score of 36 runs. Later, the opener Ashwath R Reman 43(65), and skipper Amay Manoj*  unbeaten on 58*(70) took control of the batting and made a steady partnership of 72 runs in the 3rd wicket. Losing Ashwath at the score of 108, Sanjan S Prabhu joined with Amay and made a quick 38*(39) helping to chase the target in 34.5 Overs giving a 5-wicket victory and remaining unbeaten in the district league.
