Youth Cricket has now become very competitive. Kids are expected to become expert in cricket..... overnight. While parents are looking out for fame, glory and scholarships, the kids are simply looking to get out and have some fun.

Smaller group and shorter format has been chosen to allow maximum player involvement. Coaches/Parents are not allowed to influence the game. STLCL will appoint a neutral umpire to run the show, and the kids to control/manage the entire game. All coaching needs to be off the game time. Game time should be entirely kids time.
