Dear Teams, This is the last communication before the tournament tomorrow. The match schedule and "Rules & Format" are attached for your reference. 18 teams will be battling it out for the "SLCS Challenge Trophy" and we are certain it's going to be a thrilling tournament. The Tournament's match schedule will be uploaded to the tournament web page tonight and you should be able to track your team's progress during the tournament (please see details below). Tournament details Date: 1st March 2020 Time: 6:45 a.m. onwards (match start 7:00 am sharp) Venue: Rushton Park, Kelmscott Tournament's web page: http://cricclubs.com/slcswa6aside (You can track your team's progress - 2020 series will be made online later tonight) Cricclubs app: Please download the "cricclubs" app (by cricclubs.com) to your smart phone and search "SLCS 6A SIDE CRICKET TOURNAMENT" We wish to bring your attention the following important notes. Please assist us by following them to ensure a smooth, successful tournament. 1. Please keep a note of your match times. As you can see, only a 40 minute window is allocated for each match. Therefore, each team (all 6 players) is required to report to the match coordinator at the designated match venue 15 minutes before the match start time (please see the "match start" column in the attached match schedule). The two teams who are playing the first match of the day (7:00 am) are required to report to the ground by 6:45 am. As explained in the rules document, if a team is not present at the ground by the scheduled time, then the other team will be named the winner for that match (No rescheduling is possible). 2. Matters arise during the tournament must be dealt between team captain and organisers only. Please do not get into arguments with voluntary umpires. This will result the disqualification of the team without any refund. Any racial abuses or discrimination will not be tolerated and uncontrollable matters will be referred to Australian civil law agencies. 3. Your team players are now locked in for your team(6 players and 2 stand-by players). All 8 players will be listed in the score card. Please don't try to modify your player names after the tournament starts. The scorers will not be able to change the team players as they only have printed copy of the score card. Remember, there will be families and children present in the ground supporting you - please act responsibly.
