| About: | Avenel Cricket club for Woodbridge community. This club aims to improve the cricket of every individual and taking it to next level by providing equal opportunity irrespective of a person skill and age.It is a great place for people in their mid life with kids and getting no time to keep them physical and mentally fit.Club helps them to improve their physical and mental strength and increases their productivity for the rest of the week.At this place, people again become like kids and play cricket. This league and group started playing at Avenel middle school since 2009 and that's why club name is Avenel Cricket Club and league name is Avenel Cricket League.But now it is not limited to Avenel, players from all towns of new jersey is the part of this club.It was started with 15-20 players in 2009 and right now club is consists of more than 150 members.Players like this club more than any other big professional league because of its semiprofessional nature where not only high skill players get the chance to play but all players from every age group and different level , gets the chance to play and improve their game of cricket.Please refer a rule book attached in documents which clearly mentions how it makes sure to give all players equal chance and make sure they spend quality time on ground. This league got many sponsers like A&K, Niravan Health care and others last year and hoping to get the same support this year also. Club is also focusing on to expand and adding more teams this year.
