It is important that you child honor’s the spirit of “the game of cricket” and ensure that the game’s reputation is not tarnished in any ways. Teach your kid to acknowledge good performances of others, even if the player is an opponent.
Your child should adhere to the code of conduct for players. Non-compliance will lead to disciplinary actions, including being removed from the playing 11 for the current and future tournament.
- Always adhere to the rules and respect the officials and their decisions. Do not argue with the umpire even if the decision is incorrect. This is classified as a serious offence. You can approach your captain, coach or even team manager during a break to discuss the issue.
- Co-operate with your coach, team-mates and opponents.
- Do not indulge in any physical or verbal abuse with your opponents.
- You must wear the team managements agreed upon attire.
- Player should be with the team. Inform your team manager or coach, if you need to need to move out of the designated area.
