Each player hereby acknowledges that they understands and agrees that participation in any Delaware United Cricket League (referenced as DUCL from here on) activities is purely voluntary. In consideration of the DUCL making any equipment and/or facilities available for any activities and/or participation in any DUCL activities, each player, on behalf of themselves ,  associated family,  heirs and  assigns, hereby releases the DUCL, LumsPond State Park, the DUCL Administration, DUCL Sponsors, their successors, assigns, trustees, officers, agents, volunteers and employees from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever (whether occurring accidentally, incidentally, willfully, or intentionally), including damages for bodily injury to the player or to others, either direct or consequential, which may arise from players participation in or observation of any event organized/conducted by the DUCL or DUCL Administration or LumsPond State Park including, but not limited to, cricket, other sports activities, or informal practices or gatherings related to such games and activities.

Each player hereby voluntarily waive any and all claims both present and future, resulting from ordinary negligence of DUCL, DUCL Administration, DUCL Sponsors and/or LumsPond State Park, that may be made by the player, player's family, estate, heirs, or assigns and each player relinquish on behalf of player themself, player's spouse, heirs, estate and assigns the right to recover for injury or death.

Each player further agrees that they understands that any of the activities organized by/sponsored by DUCL involve significant and inherent risks such as serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, respiratory failure, back, spine and neck injuries, concussion, heart failure, broken bones, heatstroke, heat cramp, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, frostbite, stroke, convulsion, unconsciousness, abrasions, fainting, sudden illness, cramps or shortness of breath and even death. Involvement in DUCL activities could also result in traffic fines and/or penalties, accident, injury or death while traveling to and from DUCL activities. Each player understands that these types of injuries, accidents or incidents may result from one's own actions or the action of others, or a combination of both. Each player understands that there are a number of inherent risks involved that are beyond the control of DUCL, DUCL Administration, DUCL Sponsors or LumsPond State Park. By accepting these terms and conditions, each player fully understands and fully and knowingly assumes any and all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in DUCL activities.
 

It is expressly understood, by accepting these Terms and Conditions, that each player is solely responsible for any cost arising out of any claims, demands, causes of actions, lawsuits, medical emergency, medical treatment, emergency transportation, bodily injury and death or property theft, loss or damage sustained through participation in normal or unusual activities of the DUCL and/or LumsPond State Park. Each player is encouraged to obtain adequate bodily injury, health, and/or property damage insurance coverage, and understands that DUCL does not provide any type of insurance coverage; all civil or criminal claims, all injuries, medical expenses and property damage suffered during participation in any DUCL activities are solely players own financial responsibility and not the responsibility of the DUCL or LumsPond State Park and their successors, assigns, trustees, officers, agents, volunteers, and employees.
 

Each player by agreeing to these terms and conditions, for themselves and on behalf of their heirs, assigns and personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify and hold DUCL, DUCL Administration, DUCL Sponsors, LumsPond State Park, and their officers, officials, agents, employees, other sport participants, advertisers and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises and/or properties used to conduct any DUCL event or activity harmless with respect to any and all injury, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
 

Each player agrees that their name and/or picture and/or video footage MAY be used to promote DUCL, DUCL Sponsors or LumsPond State Park programs, events or activities. Each player is also advised that they may be photographed during any of DUCL activities. Each player release DUCL from all forms of claims relating to the use of players name, picture or audio and/or video footage.
 

If the player is a minor (under the age of 18 years), then the agreement of players  parent or legal guardian  signifies acceptance by said  parent or legal guardian that the terms and conditions hereof shall be binding upon them and shall constitute a release by them of any and all claim, demands and causes of actions whatsoever which they or any of them may have against DUCL, DUCL Administration, DUCL Sponsors, LumsPond State Park, its successors, assigns, trustees, officers, agents or employees as a result of players participation in the
DUCL activities.

Each  player affirms their  legal age and  they are freely and voluntarily accepting terms and conditions without any inducement. You have read these terms and conditions, and fully understands them, by accepting, player is giving up legal rights and/or remedies which may be available to them for the ordinary negligence of DUCL or any other parties listed above.
