| About: | Dear Cricket Lovers, About GEPL : We are extremely proud to announce the introduction of Gulf Expat Premier League [ GEPL ]-Season 1-2016/2017 Gulf Expat Premier League is a T20 league format has been setup by some of the cricket enthusiasts in a vision to promote the passion of cricket in the State Of Qatar. The motto of the league is to provide a competitive platform to all cricket lovers to learn and play competitive cricket in the state of Qatar. GEPL also strives to foster and promote cricket within the State of Qatar and beyond without any boundaries. There will be 20 well known teams participating in this first season and the league will run for the next few months. End of the season the top 2 teams will qualify for the QECC Champions League [ QECL ] which will be announced later this year. We wish good luck to all the participating teams and expect a fair play throughout the league and together we can make this dream come true. In an effort to make the game popular GEPL invites all the cricket enthusiasts to join us and support this event and to make this a grant success in Qatar. Thanks all for your support.
