| About: | America has one of the richest cricket histories than any other countries in the world, with the evidence of the sport being played here as early as 1709. It currently has been said to have one of the largest cricket fan bases in the world and an enormous potential for growth. USA Cricket is looking for a partner to help capitalize on these interest levels in the sport and specifically, to construct, fund, launch, and operate the first amateur T20 cricket tournament in the United States. The creation of the tournament is a core pillar of an exciting new strategic direction for the game of cricket in the world’s most competitive sporting market. Our Goal: Last year we completed The New England T-20 successfully in spite of experience and knowledge and even though there were a lot of obstacles, which was a great achievement for BAFFC. .In 2022, we are indeed trying to throw a better tournament in the community. The number of immigrants in Connecticut coming from cricket-playing nations increases regularly. We are now trying to make cricket more accessible throughout Connecticut and the surrounding areas. We want to encourage the younger generations to enjoy and participate in our growing cricket community. This can be possible if we possess the proper resources to continue developing and enhancing the infrastructure of the preexisting cricket field in Manchester. We fortunately have a professional field in which we can arrange cricket coaching camps, regular practices, and engaging cricket leagues/tournaments. Furthermore, we will be able to broaden our cricket community by supporting other ethnic communities who would like to take part in our games. The goal of the Bangladeshi American Friends and Family of Connecticut (BAFFC) is to foster an inclusive cricket environment for the community. |
