RULES and FORMAT

•     Registered players will be sent a poll on Wednesday mornings. 
•     Players will have to sign up and pay the $10 entry by noon – First Come First Serve is the policy.
•     Two teams will be announced by 3pm. 
•     Each will have 11-12 players. 
•     Format of the teams would be 5-6 Batters, 5 bowlers. All Batting all-rounders will be considered Batters and all Bowling all-rounders     will be considered Bowlers. 
•     Players will have the option to choose the role when they sign up each week. 
•     Each batter will have a maximum of 20 balls to play – at which time he must retire. If balls remain towards the end of the innings, then the retired batters can bat again.
•     Out will be out – there will be no second chances.
•     Each bowler will get a maximum of 20 balls.
•     There will be 100 balls per innings and 5 balls will make an over. Upon captain’s decision a bowler can ball 2 consecutive overs or 10 balls. 
•     Power Play will be of 25 balls and each team will have a power play at their disposal while batting which they can take at any time in the game. Fielding team will have to leave only 2 fielders outside the circle when the power play will be called for its duration. This will hold true for 12-a-side games as well.
•     There will be minimal breaks for water to keep daylight usage at maximum. 
•     First few weeks games will start at 5pm and later in summer games will start at 5:30pm. 
•     Professionalism and Sportsmanship is expected from all participants. While the games are open to all, only those who will sign up and pay will play. Please do not show up at the ground and expect a spot on either team(s). 
•     MVP will be decided by the scoring app – no exceptions.
