About: DISCLAIMER: - FOR A GIVEN RULE/GUIDELINE THERE WILL BE A LOOPHOLE OR WORKAROUND. IF DURING ANY POINT OF THE TOURNAMENT, SHOULD SOMEONE TAMPER WITH THE RULES OR TAKE ADVANTAGE, A DECISION WILL BE MADE OUTSIDE OF THESE RULES. THE IDEA IS TO PLAY FAIR AS LONG AS OTHERS PLAY THE SAME GAME! HOPE YOU ALL COME WITH A GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND ENJOY THIS PLATFORM THAT COSTS NOTHING BUT THE GROUND RESERVATION AND HARD TENNIS BALLS. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
1. NO Tournament Fee! NO Sponsors!! NO Prize Money!!!
2. The idea is to play the winter friendly matches in the right spirit and in an organized fashion.
3. We reserve the grounds in advance, pay for it and play. County Grounds are not available from Dec 1st through March 1st. We will most likely reserve Hwy218 cricket ground along with Lakhany cricket ground.
4. Revised team participation limit is 10 Teams. Each team plays with other team one game in the round robin phase.
5. Weather permitting match every weekend. One match per team at a minimum but if the team is willing, there can be more than one.
6. League will end before Feb 2019 or any major league start date, whichever is earliest.
7. Each team to purchase new hard tennis balls. Beast balls should be used to keep it consistent. 6 pack will cost 13$.
8. Umpiring done by teams playing the match with the expectation of being nice and fair to each other. Remember, the main purpose is to keep Cricket going during winter and have fun. So, expect teams to be on board with this idea.
9. Rules: - More than anything good sportsmanship and basic cricket etiquette is expected from every player/team. Some of the frequently asked rules can be found in the rules section.
10.Team Roster Limit: - No Limit and you can keep adding as we know it is hard to make playing 11 in winter. But, a player from one team cannot play in another team.
11. Matches will be planned based on weather conditions. So, hopefully no rain/weather interrupted matches and if it were to be interrupted for any valid reason, the match will be replayed.
12. Use the worksheet, "Team Roster" to add your players and team name.
13. No WALKOVERS! Schedules will be made based on already agreed date/time. But, if one has to happen, based on advance notice, the match will be rescheduled. If this happens without advance notice, forfeiting team will lose 2 points as well as 50 runs total from their final score that is used to calculate NRR.
14. Team availability needs to be updated by EOD Monday every week and Schedule will be out by EOD on Tuesday.
15. Each team should pay for the ground fee and tennis ball costs upfront and this confirms their participation and commitment to continue in the league till the end. If for some reason, a team decides to drop off or organizer has to force a team out on the grounds of sportsmanship or behavior, they will forfeit their money. At that point, if the league doesn't incur a loss due to the team dropping out, their remaining balance will be donated to a charity organization and receipt will be e-mailed.
