There are 6 teams participating in the tournament. The tournament is round-robin style group stage with 2 groups of 3 teams each. Top 2 teams from each group will play the semi-finals followed by a final and 3rd place match. The 2 semi-finalist winners will play the final, the 2 semi-finalist losers will play the 3rd place match.
Majority of your team MUST be current students (graduating year 2022 or later). For every extra alumni (not current student) player that you in the playing 12, your team will be deducted 1 point per extra alumni for that match. In playoffs extra alumni are not allowed.
Super-sub rules applies. A 12th man can be chosen as a super-sub who can bowl and field, but cannot bat. Fielding substitutions can also occasionally be made outside of the selected 12 but they will not be allowed to bat or bowl.
We are on a strict schedule. If team bowling first is behind on over-rate, they will lose the equivalent amount of overs in their chase of the target set by the team batting first. If team bowling second is behind on over-rate, the full overs will still be bowled, and they will be penalized 6 runs per over they are behind and the following match will have to be played with reduced overs.
