Player and Roster registration for C&DCL season 2021

Dear C&DCL Members,

We are very excited to get our season 2021 on the way and hoping so are you all for the start of the season. To get our season started we need to get players registered and rosters finalized. In this email, you will find details about getting the final administration work done to ensure a smooth start to the season. 
What do players need to do?

Player registration is a two-step process. Each player playing in C&DCL will need to complete the following two steps:

Step 1: Activate/register the profiles on the website:

Please note these instructions need to be followed by new & existing players. Any profiles which don't have a picture of the player attached will be considered incomplete 
& the incomplete profile will be not be approved until a picture of the player is posted.if the player has an active and claimed profile, they just need to ensure a picture is uploaded so that profile can be approved.

Step 2: Sign the waiver after activating your profile in step 1.

Please note: Attaching a picture to the C&DCL waiver form is optional. The Waiver link can also be accessed and submitted via any mobile device.   

What Clubs need to do?

All Clubs must provide the team rosters against which the players will be validated. Rosters need to be provided in the following manner:

1. '1' Email for all teams in the club. Email needs to come from the C&DCL provided email address. Emails originating from any other email addresses will be ignored. There is no limit on the size of each squad
2.  Subject line to state "Team Rosters for XYZ Cricket Club"
3. Email should be sent To: Registrar@calgarycricket.ca & CC: secretary@cricketcalgary.ca
4. Email body needs to be simple such as:


Team 1: XZY Team Name. (Format)
1. FirstName, LastName , player ID  
2. FirstName, LastName, player ID (Captain)
3. FirstName, Lastname, player ID (WK)

Team 2: XZY Team Name. (Format)
1. FirstName, LastName, player ID
2. FirstName, LastName, player ID (Captain)
3. FirstName, Lastname, player ID (WK)

NON-FINANCIAL PLAYERS

Once we receive the roster lists from the clubs, we will be checking the player names against the non-financial player list. We will notify the club if a player on their roster list is also on the non-financial player list. To complete the registration of that player, we will be asking the club to provide a clearance letter from the player's ex-club.
