It is time for team registrations for the 2023 season. This process is applicable to all teams looking to register with Calgary & District Cricket League in any of the formats of cricket it currently offer (i.e. 35/50 overs format, T20 format, weekday league format).
Important information regarding team / club registration for 2023 season:
- Applications from teams wanting to play in Calgary & District Cricket League (C&DCL) must be submitted online by February 15th, 2023, 11:59 pm (Prior to midnight). Here is the link to the online application form: https://forms.gle/QSP8Sd3bxmvx4PpA7
- This application team/club registration form is required to be fully completed & signed.
- If a club has more than one team, an additional application form must be completed and signed for each team (click on "Submit Another Response" link after first submission is completed). However, if the same team is participating in two formats, one form would be sufficient for the team.
- For each format a team registers in, a Club must pay an initial deposit of $500 in the form of an e-transfer (treasurer@cricketcalgary.ca) or a bank draft payable to Calgary & District Cricket League. Please include your team/club name in the reference/comments field. The initial deposit must be received prior to February 15th, 2023, 11:59 pm (Prior to midnight). Example. If a club is registering a team in both T20 and 35/50 overs format, a deposit of $1000 is required
- Once a team/club is accepted into the league by the Board of Directors at the C&DCL Semi-Annual General Meeting, the initial deposit shall be applied against their annual league dues.
- If a team or club is not accepted in C&DCL, the initial deposit shall be refunded to applying team or club.
- Membership dues for each team of all divisions and formats shall be fixed at the Semi-Annual General Meeting (SAGM) in March and must be paid in full within 30 days after SAGM
- Any club, which duly registers a team in C&DCL, and subsequently withdraws that team from the C&DCL, will forfeit all of the dues already paid for that team.
- C&DCL shall be monitoring the Government of Alberta and the City of Calgary's COVID public health measures and will operate in compliance with the regulations.
