United States - 22027
Established: 2001
Current Series: 2021 Winter Cup Playoffs
About: Founded in 2001, the WMCB has gone from strength to strength and is now a well consolidated hard-ball league in the DMV area. WMCB has operated predominantly in the DMV area, however it has played games as far away as Baltimore. In 2014, WMCB made history by, in a partnership with the Washington Cricket Center, playing league games on natural turf wickets. In 2016, WMCB introduced live scoring through Cricclubs to league games. This massively reduced the amount of paperwork required, and increased the accuracy of the stats.

Games are played at three locations: Oxon Hill, Mark Twain, and Laurel Cricket Park. The WMCB is the only league in DC with turf wickets, and is one of the few leagues in the entire USA to have turf wickets.

The league is affiliated with USA Cricket, and welcomes all new member clubs or players. The vision for the future is to foster greater participation with more clubs and more grounds, and a competitive ACCL schedule.
