DCCC (Dallas Country Cricket Club) began in 1952 and is the oldest and most recognized cricket club in the DFW Metroplex. Our own Arun Vittala spearheaded the formation of NTCA in 1996 and was elected its first President. During this time DCCC has been the winner of the coveted Premier League Championship many times. DCCC has toured many parts of the USA as well as Jamaica several times. The club is a regular fixture at the VISAS (Victoria International Six A Side) cricket festival in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada every other year since 1996. Teams from England, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and USA participate regularly at VISAS. DCCC has also hosted several touring teams from India as well as several stars of the winning 1983 World Cup team – Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Ravi Shastri to name a few in 1986. At the national level, DCCC players have represented Central West, USA at various levels including National Team, Under-19, Under-15 & Under-13. |
